framework and values

The game operates within an anti-oppression framework. Values include: sex positivity, youth positivity, LGBTQ2S+ positive, humour, intersectional feminism, accessibility, equity, and joy of learning.

Although rooted in sound and scientific sexual health information, the game uses a bottom-up approach, centering the lived experiences of its participants.

universities and colleges

Sexual health, consent and pleasure are not separate from over-all student health and well-being.  SEXY SEXUAL HEALTH TRIVIA was first developed for a university/college audience, to disrupt the traditional learning environment and create a safe and fun space to have these conversations.

The game is scalable for intimate settings to larger audiences, and perfect for participants 25 - 1000.

adult education

Youth are often the focus of sex-ed, but it is important adults are also knowledgeable and confident!  Sexual health is integral to overall health, and sexual liberation is necessary for broader liberation.  In a political climate which threatens all of the above, education is the most powerful tool in activism, and it need not be dull!  samantha bitty also hosts the game for adult audiences in various venues, raising funds for local non-profits, and helping adults learn (and unlearn too)!  Visit gigs for upcoming events.

game play

For campus presentations, participants are assigned teams (Pink, Yellow, Blue) and each round, a CHAMPION from each team will compete for points.  Questions may be multiple choice, scenarios, or True/False. Correct answers earn a point. Incorrect answers are open to other teams to steal the point.  Questions spark discussion and critical thinking about topics such as safer sex, dating, and consent.  At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins a prize.

*Campus presentations require A/V support, with interactive game board.

For adult presentations, participants form teams of 2+ players.  In sequence, each team will select a category, and be given 25 seconds to answer the question.  Incorrect answers are open to other teams to steal the point.  Prizes for the team with the most points.  Mid-Trivia, individually participants play a few quick rounds of Sexual Health Scattergories - a game of categorical responses using the alphabet.  Ex. “Body Part starting with the letter A”. Players try to pick answers others will not have, and most points wins a prize.
